“The only way this country can get out of our situation is if everybody forms a huge community and gets down to it.”
In this never before seen interview extra from the documentary, 2012: Time For Change, directed by Joao Amorim, Daniel Pinchbeck speaks with Vlad Teichberg, a former Wall Street trader who gave up a life of derivatives to expose the corruption behind the curtains. This video was edited from 2012: Time For Change outtakes by Stephen Hershey.
While this interview takes place over three years ago in October 2008, many of the practical alternatives and solutions to the social economic crises have been definitively manifested within the Occupy Wall Street protests.
If this interview is a forecast for what’s to come, then we have everything to be exited for. Vlad assures that, “even if [the governments] grab power and institute fascism, they’re still going to fail. The reason they’re going to fail is because they’re still going to go bankrupt because they won’t be able to manufacture value out of nothing.”
With the awakened general consensus growing exponentially by the day, what’s our next step to insuring the sanctity of our communal resources and values?
